The Riviera Owner’s Association’s annual international meet is in Gettysburg, PA this week, so I’m back in Gettysburg.
A lot has changed for me since 2019—personally, professionally, and health-wise. Back then, I was still married, owned three collector cars, and had not yet had back surgery. Among the many events over these four days, there’s definitely time to think about the changes in the last seven years.
After so many fits and starts, I have resumed work on the Riviera Project. It’s now at revision 21, and I’ve brought a couple of copies with me to the meet, along with some business cards. The members of the ROA know so much about these cars.
Some things haven’t changed—we have once again managed to pick a week when it’s very hot—even for Gettysburg in July.
